✂️ Masking Images
Masking is a simple yet powerful way to remove part of an images.
-
Add an image to the canvas

Draw a shape over the image using Square or Pen

Select both the image and the shape

In the right panel, find the masking options
-
Click the Scissors icon to apply the mask

Select Reverse Mask to swap the visible area
-
Copy and paste to create both sides of the image

Click the Eraser icon to remove the mask

Select two or more objects on the canvas

Grouping options appear in the right panel

Click Group Selected Shapes

Move the group as a single object

Copy and paste the full group easily

🏷️ Adding Your School Logo

Go to edugroove.com/app and log in

From the home screen, click Admin

Click Choose File and select your square logo (200 × 200)

Click Upload Logo and wait for confirmation

Repeat the process with your rectangular logo (650 × 150)

Your logo will now appear across the app
👥 Managing Additional Teachers

Sign in to the members area

Click Manage Users

Select Invite Users in the top right

Enter the teacher’s email address

Click Delete to remove access when needed

🔒 Locking and Edit Mode
Learn how to lock objects and work with our edit mode.
- Use Select Tool (
V) to select your shapes - Enter Edit Mode from the top bar
- Click a shape and hit the padlock to lock it
- Locked shapes can’t be moved outside Edit Mode
- To unlock: Enter Edit Mode again, click the red padlock, and unlock
💾 Saving and Exporting

- Click the Save Icon or press
S - Save to browser: Quick save in local cookies
- Download: Saves a .groove file for reloading later
- Export to PDF: Ready-to-print version for your class
