🎨 Getting Started: Create a New Document

1. Visit edugroove.com
2. Open the Worksheet App and click New
3. Click the info button (or press W)
4. Set orientation to Portrait or Landscape
5. Toggle the grid to align content
6. Set your workspace mood

🧭 The Interface Explained

The interface is made of 4 main areas:

• Canvas Area – Your main workspace
• Toolbar – Contains your tools (left)
• Tool Properties Panel – Edit selected tool options (right)
• Top Menu Bar – Navigation, shape ordering, lock and edit mode

🔷 Creating Shapes

1. Click the Shape Tool or press S
2. Pick a shape from the right panel
3. Click and drag to draw
4. Use V to select and edit
5. Press Delete to remove

📏 Using the Line Tool

1. Click the Line Tool or press L
2. Click and drag to create a line
3. Hold Shift to keep the angle clean
4. Check Dashed Line to style it
5. You can edit dash values for custom styles

🖼️ Adding Images

• From your computer: Use the image tool and upload
• From the web: Right-click > Copy > Paste into canvas
• From the EDU Groove image library: Click images > Image Library > Select your image

You can move, resize, flip, and rotate images after placing them.

✏️ Using the Pencil Tool

1. Select the Pencil Tool or press P
2. Draw freely – perfect for tracing, cutting, or custom designs
3. Enable Dashed Line to create tracing guides
4. Try tracing an object (like a banana!) for fun activities

🔤 Adding and Editing Text

1. Click the Text Tool or press T
2. Click the canvas to place your text
3. Use the Selection Tool to edit it
4. Change font, size, and content from the right-hand properties panel

💾 Saving and Exporting

1. Click the Save Icon or press S
2. Save to browser: Quick save in local cookies
3. Download: Saves a .groove file for reloading later
4. Export to PDF: Ready-to-print version for your class

🔒 Locking and Edit Mode

1. Use Select Tool (V) to select your shapes
2. Enter Edit Mode from the top bar
3. Click a shape and hit the padlock to lock it
4. Locked shapes can’t be moved outside Edit Mode
5. To unlock: Enter Edit Mode again, click the red padlock, and unlock

📚 Using Templates

1. Open Templates from the start screen
2. Sort by level, subject, category, or use the search bar
3. Edit any template to fit your lesson needs
4. Swap out images, update text, and customize freely

🏫 School Logos & Users

1. Login with your School Admin account
2. Click Admin in the top menu
3. Upload a Rectangular Logo (600×150 px)
4. Upload a Square Logo (200×200 px)
5. Scroll to Manage Sub Users to add teachers
